94 Côte d’Azur Un Ikea à Nice en 2021 An Ikea in Nice in 2021 Après de nombreuses péripéties le projet Ikea devrait voir le jour au printemps 2021, au sein de l’écoquartier Nice Saint Isidore. Le 26 octobre dernier, la Métropole de Nice Côte d’Azur, IKEA et Bouygues Immobilier ont enfin inauguré le lancement des travaux de construc- tion de ce projet mixte, urbain et intégré. Ce nouveau quartier qui est en train de voir le jour, au pied du Stade Allianz Riviera se situe à un emplacement stratégique du territoire avec la proximité de l’Autoroute A8, de la RN 6202 et de l’avenue Pierre de Coubertin, il bénéficiera aussi d’une proximité avec le cœur de ville grâce à la nouvelle ligne 3 du tramway. Un secteur en plein évolution, au sein duquel près de 8 hectares sont maîtrisés par la Ville de Nice. Ce projet immobilier, respectueux des équilibres locaux, sera pilote en matière de développement durable avec notamment l’engagement d’une certification BREEAM pour le magasin IKEA. Il valorisera l’utili- sation des transports doux avec l’aménagement de nombreuses voies piétonnes et cyclables pour permettre une liaison sécurisée et fluide des usagers entre les différents bâtiments. After many trials and tribulations the Ikea project should be completed in the spring of 2021 in the Nice Saint Isadore eco district. On October 26 the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, IKEA and Bouygues Real Estate finally ushered in the commencement of the construction work for this integrated urban joint project. This new district that is emerging at the foot of the Allianz Riviera Stadium is strategically located, close to the A8 motorway, the RN 6202 and Avenue Pierre de Courbertin: it also has the advantage of being near the heart of the city thanks to the new # 3 tram line. It is a rapidly evolving sector, of which nearly 8 hectares are controlled by the city of Nice. This real estate project that is respectful of the local balances will be the pilot for sustainable development, is notably committed to receiving a BREEAM certification for the IKEA store. It will favour the use of “soft” modes of transport with a system of pedestrian access and bicycle paths that make for a secure and fluid connection for all users going between the different buildings.
